Mt. Houston Animal Clinic was founded in what was then a suburb of Houston, in the mid 1970's, by Dr. Melanie Walker.  In 1985 Dr. Matt purchased the clinic from Dr. Walker after moving to Houston from Dallas.

Dr. Matt built up the practice to the point that there was not enough space to work effectively to serve the volume of patients he was seeing.  So in 1990 he expanded the clinic, effectively doubling its size to its current dimensions.  Since Dr. Matt purchased the clinic, the client base has increased five fold. 

Mt. Houston Animal Clinic now takes pride in having state of the art facilities and equipment to properly serve our clients and their pets. Our mission is to provide superior medical services in a fun, friendly, compassionate atmosphere while respecting the needs and wishes of our clients in the treatment of their pets.
